Hi Sakshi,

I guess you are taking the self-study route and looking for resources. Here are some of the suggestions:-

1. GMATClub:- Yes its a great source of resources. The GMATClub Quant guide and GMATClub Grammar guide are comprehensive texts that help you brush up / build concepts and also do practice problems.

2. For practice, several prep houses such as MGMAT, Economist, Veritas Prep, and others offer 1 CAT without any charges. You can also visit MBA.com and get access to 2 CATs of gmatprep.
I would suggest you to purchase a guide book of Manhattan GMAT, as it also gives you access to 6 full length tests (CATs).

Other than these, you can look up on google for resources. There are a host of guide books available for free. Be sure to chose the right ones rather than scramble around.

There are plenty of free resources here on GMAT club; however, if possible you should try to use some paid resources as well. To see what is available you can check out the GMAT Club reviews for  the best quant  and  verbal courses , and also read through some  GMAT success stories  to see what materials have worked well for other test-takers.

Also, would you like some general advice on how to improve your verbal and quant skills?

Hi sakshiagarwal311,

There are plenty of free GMAT practice materials available online (for example, you'll find plenty of practice questions here on GMATClub). Depending on your overall Score Goal though, you might find it beneficial to invest in some specific study materials (especially those that include a structured Study Plan and teach the Tactics, patterns and little 'secrets' to the GMAT).

Have you taken any practice CATs/mocks yet? If not, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test sometime soon; you can access 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a bit of practice first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the general content and question types first, then that's fine - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have your Score, you should report back here and we can discuss the results and come up with a study plan.

In addition, I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and your goals:

1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
