Generally if there are queries in your profile or if you missed uploading certain docs you can expect a revert within couple of weeks. However if your file is complete then they move on to assessing it which can take easily 4-8 weeks.

How long does it usually take for profile evaluation? My application has not moved from "Application Submitted" since 19th October. Been 3 weeks now!
Does that mean the adcom didn't watch the video completely? Just wondering what to make of this information
BTW, what is topapply.com ?
Haha, I hope not! Like I said, it was viewed the day the adcom confirmed that my application was forwarded for profile evaluation, so my guess is they don't watch it fully during the application eligibility review. And it's driving me nuts that they don't seem to have taken up my application/video for the profile evaluation three weeks after submitting it.
Topapply I suppose is the application software Sauder uses. Youtube analytics shows the traffic source for every video. Since I have kept mine unlisted, only the adcom can see it and it shows the traffic source as topapply.

Got it. Thanks for the detailed answer. I guess they are just making sure that the video is playable. It makes sense that they watched it only for 13 seconds
Hello, I got a mail from sauder regarding proof of English proficiency, I have done my graduation(B.tech) in English medium but it is not mentioned on the transcript. On website they have mentioned the exams like ielts/TOEFL or shall I just ask from my university/college the English medium certificate. Kindly guide me please !

I got the same email - Just get a letter from the college and share the same. Attach it in your application as well.
That’s all. My university took a day to provide this letter
The easy route wld be to take a certificate from your university stating that your medium of instruction was English. However for your visa application if you choose the SDS route you will be required to submit IELTS. Hence it won't hurt to do IELTS and submit it given the long term benefits.

I read the admission process experience of an alumni 2-3 years prior somewhere and in that the alumni mentioned that he received a response almost 2 months later as in that year there were many more applicants due to a change in the US visa rules. Given the current situation it is possible that the university may have experienced a similar increase in the number of applications and we may have to wait that long too
