I reached out to few folks but wanted to see if there is a flow for EMBA interview the follow or more conversational setting?. I applied in R3 and I have scheduled my slot for next week. I haven't done an interview in years 😃.

I have applied to Booth in R3 and got invited to interview. All those of you who have been there any tips on how to pass through this phase. How was the interview? Too Formal or cool? How did you guys dress up for the interview? Who was the interview with? What according to you got you through the interview? Thank you in advance for your responses.

I recall a comment in the invitation that it was professional dress. I wore a blazer and collared shirt. My interview was with an alum, it was more casual than my other interviews with admissions at other schools but still on the formal side, this probably depends on the interviewer. I'd suggest reading debriefs on gmat club for more specific interview questions.

Just had my interview and it was with an alumni. It was more informal and had a lot of interactions with questions asked about my background, why I want to do mba and why from booth, How do i see changes in my industry post the pandemic, what strengths will I bring to my group during the mba. I really liked the way the interview was conducted in a friendly manner.

Congrats! There's a solid mix here of all three campuses. I'm in the US. Once you accept and put down your deposit, the school will send you more details. There is a LinkedIn group is for all three campuses. We have a separate group account for the US, not sure if there's anything else for UK/HK to converse.

Still pending - though highly unlikely that COVID will be the reason holding me back. Things are expected to get back to normal on campus. Are you waiting on offers from other schools?

Hi HulkSmash, when did you give your interview and submit your application? How did they notify you? My interview was on the 15th; just want to understand when they will let me know and how.

My application, interview, and test scores were staggered quite a bit. I had other commitments and the admissions team has been more than understanding throughout. Once I completed all requirements of the application i.e. submitted EA test scores, I was told that I would hear back within a couple of weeks. I got a phone call within the first week. I can understand the anxiety. Wishing you the best of luck!

Hi HulkSmash, Thank you for the response. If I am accepted, Covid19 would not be a factor for me. With vaccines, I believe we are close to getting back to normal. Also, I saw the mail in Poets and Quants. While it is a bit disturbing that student had to write to Dean as they were not happy; I truly hope it was an effect of Covid and would die away from this year. I am still waiting for the results, once I know I will let everyone know here.

Those who got an admission, would you mind sharing if Booth is your first choice or you are still waiting on other schools?

Booth Admissions Team By-Far is the most decent and authentic set of people I have come across.
Hands-down I hold them in the highest regard for humility and decency.
I have also heard that at a certain top ranked brand school - colored folks -- don't feel included in the community.
So, research is ON.

I agree. With vaccinations rolling out successfully in the US and UK (not sure what the situtation is in HK), we are all anticipating attending in-person classes.
I'm sure we all recognise that there's a bigger picture in play here. Given the reasons why one would go to program such as Booth, managing short term expectations with long term goals is even more important today. All the very best to you.

What doubts do you have for attending either one?
One major reason Booth stood out for me is the focus on maintaining consistency and quality across campuses. Lectures are offered by the same faculty at each campus during the terms.
Also, from what I hear - the academics at Booth are extremely intense when compared to Kellogg. Most folks I spoke to about their experience at Booth both loved and hated how much hard work they needed to put into the studies.
