Phineas, Quentin, Raekwon, Shelby, and Terrence are each being considered to construct a barn outside of town. Phineas says that he can build the barn in 7 hours, Quentin in 9 hours, Raekwon in 6 hours, Shelby in 4 hours, and Terrence in 10 hours.
If the town council can afford to hire three of the contractors to expedite the project and each contractor works simultaneously at their previously estimated constant rate, select a time that would be closest to the Fastest time possible overall and another value that would be closest to the Fastest time with Terrence, who is likely to be one of the contractor’s hired, since he is the Town President’s cousin. Make only two selections, one in each column.
