A group of friends wants to order a pizza for a dinner party. To accommodate everyone's preferences, one-half of the pizza must contain at least 1 but no more than 3 kinds of meat and at least 2 but no more than 5 kinds of vegetable; the other half of the pizza must contain at least 2 but no more than 4 kinds of meat and at least 3 but no more than 6 kinds of vegetable. Below is the menu of options for both meats and vegetables.

2nd Half:

The Selection, which can be used for either half will contain 2 meat options (since it is the overlap) and 3/4/5 veg options.
The Selection, which can not be used for either half will have 1 meat option (as there are only 4 options available) and 6/7 veg options.

the question is mistaken in its existing form: see the first line of the question which say "one-half of the pizza must contain at least 1 but no more than 3 kinds of meat". but the answer is based on at least one and at most 2 kinds of meat for the first half of the pizza.
