What time of the day you took the test? Is it off hours like late night when traditionally the Internet Service Provider works on network updates etc?

I took the exam on Aug 13th at 12PM IST. Do we need to align with US time to avoid these kind of situations?

I experience the same issue on August 22, I was able to finish verbal on time but missed 3 quant questions due to the lag. in The end the result score was 760 which was a huge surprise since I was already prepared that I would need to retake it.

Exactly the same issue I had today August 22 as I posted it in another thread.

GMAT needs to do something with these issues, it's extremely stressful for the test taker.

Hi,

I took the exam on 18th Aug, and was able to complete it as well.
The dashboard is displaying the status as "Technical Error", so I am not sure what is happening.
Has anyone else faced a similar issue? If yes, what can I do in terms of next steps?

Writing to the customer care is of no avail!! There's no response from them despite sending multiple mails! Am seriously considering going the legal way on this!

In my experience it takes about 2 weeks for them to get back with folks. I don't know if that is because it takes that long or if that's just a delay they create. It seems frustrating that their support is slow but just FYI in terms of expectations of what I have seen.

I just can't understand the fact that such an important test in which each second is determinant can have such a flawed system that can steal you more than 5 minutes per section. Even if the lag is only 1 or 2 seconds per question, the test should be automatically cancelled
and be able to reescheduled or get refunded. And how can they take so much time to answer after the test? so test takers have to wait with complete uncertainty regarding his resolution with upcoming deadlines that they have prepared for months if not years.

It really surprised me the fact that even as I told my proctor about these issues, I could just kept going as nothing happened. How can you pay such an expensive test, that can be determinant in a student's future, having prepared for months, having put money time and effort and be severely affected by the system's lag. What is that "system test" pre-exam for? They are extremely strict to avoid cheating but at the same time they seem to overlook this kind of huge technical problems.
We expect them to be consistent to their level of rigorousness, that is the system performance working appropriately and the test taker who paid a significant amount of money having a good experience while only concentrating on the exam's questions and not on external stuff.

Hey Mates, i faced the exact same problem on GMAT online test on 16 Aug 2021. In my experience the proctor even mention that this could be due to the secure browser. I had escalated the issue to both Examinity and MBA_com guys, Examinity people day that they do not have any control over the test screen, it is MBA_com who controls the test

Since then i am awaiting response from MBA_com

Please help, if there is any other way i can take it up, also do the Examinity people provide us with the ticket number which they raises for such issues

Hi All, I took the test today. I had to cancel the test in between because of these issues. I started with AWA and I was not able to write and move the cursor front or back. I thought it was just with the text box so i finished my AWA somehow and moved to IR but the issue got worse. I had to make 5 clicks to select one radio button and I had 3 radio buttons to choose. Then clicking "next" button took another 5 clicks and it froze on the confirm(Y/N) dialogue box. Proctor restarted the test twice but it was not moving ahead. I solved the first quant question in 45 seconds but because of secure browser issue, my 4 minutes were wasted and then proctor closed my test. My speed test results were very good(download - 45 MBPS, Upload - 65 MBPS) and still I had to leave the test in the middle. Please let me know if there is a solution in which I can get a refund or an option to reschedule.

The kind of product they have made after charging test takers 250 USD in pathetic.

I took the test today and it was awful, everything was lagging terribly. I don't know why they haven't fixed it yet.

RafZaf I was using Dell laptop with i5 processor, 8 GB ram running windows 10. Upload and download speed mentioned already. I did the speed test 4 times in front of the proctor but the secure browser was still lagging. Pathetic experience. But I would like to mention that proctor was very understanding and helping. There was nothing she could do any better.
