Hi Rich,
I'm sorry to hear that your Official GMAT was cancelled. Having less than 2 days to 'fix' your issues with RC wasn't a practical goal - but now that there might be some delay (in terms of when you can take the actual GMAT), we can use that time to better define those issues and improve your Verbal skills. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week? - 3 months. 3 hours on weekdays 4 hours on weekends.
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used? Jamboree and official guide
3) On what dates (or approximate idates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)? Last mock - 11th Aug Quant - 49 verbal - 29 (640) before that 2nd Aug score - 640 quant -47 verbal 32
July 28th score - 640 verbal - 27, quant - 29
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score? 720
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to? By November. Target schools - ISB Hyderabad, NUS and Insead.
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
