Hi All!
I completed my online GMAT 7 weeks ago, and was thrilled to get a score that I was very pleased with. Unfortunately, I got an email today that there was a security violation during my exam, so my scores are being cancelled. The email didn't state what exactly my violation was. The only thing I can think of is that I got up for 2 minutes to use the bathroom on one of the optional breaks, after receiving approval from my proctor to do so. I confirmed whether I could leave the camera view before the test started, and asked again during my break.
I have a week to respond to the email with an appeal. Has anyone had a similar experience, particularly with the online test?

I received a similar message today. No explanation for what the violation. I submitted an appeal as I followed all of the proctor's instructions and like you, the only thing I did was use the bathroom during a formal break.

Same exact thing happened to me.... I emailed to appeal it but I haven’t heard back. Have you? If so, how long did it take for them to get back to you? This is so disappointing.
