TTP vs EGMAT for Verbal?

Question

Hey guys,

I need help on deciding between TTP and EGMAT for verbal prep.

The following are the reviews I have received from friends -

EGMAT 
SC - Good 
RC - The training content is less and doesnt cover the must know topics in depth. Pre thinking wastes times and doesnt really help in accuracy. 
CR - Unnecessary complicates simple stuff. Falsification and pre thinking doesn't work.

TTP
These are the things I have picked up from GMATClub - 
SC - Not the best 
CR and RC are good

I am having a tough time making a call.

EGMAT looks established and time tested and seemed to work for people on GMATClub reviews section but none of my friends recommend it. 
TTP - Again is recommended by people on this forum but I dont have any first hand assurance.

I have taken the free trials but cannot determine in what program putting my precious time and money will give the results.

Request you people who have used either course first hand -

To highlight the pros and cons, what worked what didnt work.

Hi!

I have not used EGMAT but I have used TTP and I can tell you that it's actually very good for SC. For CR it's also good but can't say much about it's RC section.

I know for a fact though that both are equally good for quant.

I feel the reviews you got are spot on. I've used both TTP and Egmat.

TTP has good content for SC. They literally cover everything, but Egmat edges over TTP in the application part ( How to apply the concepts).

I don't think anyone comes even close to what TTP has to offer in Quant, CR and RC. It's amazing!!!!!!!

I would recommend taking both and saving time, but depending on where you are facing the issue you can make the call.

studyprep282  - In short, the TTP GMAT course is unlike any other course on the market. Frankly, no other course comes close to TTP in terms of concepts, strategies, skills, and tips covered in the course. Do not fall victim to marketing gimmicks: get 760 on the GMAT in 2 weeks, solve SC questions in 45 seconds, etc. Such gimmicks do not work and actually hurt your GMAT preparation, resulting in a long, dwindling prep process. Target Test Prep has a perfect 5-star rating (you could read each review available on GMAT Club), and, having used both TTP and e-GMAT, I can say with absolute certainty that Target Test Prep is the BEST. If you want a 760 or above score on the GMAT, choose TTP. Bookmark my post and thank me later!

Hi.

I am not sure about E-GMAT because I haven't ever used it, but I can say that you won't regret signing up for TTP.

The best thing about TTP is its structure which focuses on practice. Once you finish reading the concepts, you will have to complete Chapter tests starting from the Easy questions and eventually getting to the harder ones.

TTP Verbal is comparatively new but definitely very comprehensive. CR is top-notch and I think you won't need any other resources after completing TTP.

SC took me some time to cover because it was very detailed but the content is of good quality.

I haven't gone through TTP RC, so will not be able to comment.

Hi, personally both are great platform to start learning gmat. However, I guess my preference will be to TTP Gmat since I feel my verbal skills are improving greatly. The platform is the real deal and I believe you will feel the same way too after taking the subscription. The best way to experience the improvement is taking the 4 months period , unless you only want to enhance some parts of the courses.

Hi,
I have been using TTP for quite some time now. I wasn't really focused in the 1st phase of my preparation so I was only able to devote a few hours per week for quant (verbal wasn't available then) for my preparation. Despite that, my score went from a Q25 (in my official GMAT mock) to a Q40 (on the actual test) within 1-1.5 months. I am incredibly excited to start my focused preparation for the GMAT again. I have no doubt that if I invest the needed time and effort into the course, I can get a real good score!
