Hi Ruchita, profile looks good and suitable for IIM A. What is your GMAT score?

Your profile is good and you can expect a interview call from top IIMs if your GMAT score is 690+

I got 600 so did not apply , will apply next year Thank you Tridisha and Ankur I had prepared for 1.5- 2 months with work , can anyone suggest strategy for preparation now for re-taking gmat in 3 months- with work ? Also, is it advisable to take any prep course instead of self preparation?

If you are planning to apply next year, then you have ample time to prepare and get a 700+ score. Dedicate more time in improving your verbal ability. A V40 can catapult your overall score beyond 700 even with a Q47. E-gmat's verbal ability course is good. You can try it for free for a week. It's self paced. Since you are from NIT, quants should not be a big worry for you. Manhattan quant books are good. Consistency is key, in my opinion. Study daily even if you do it for just an hour. Lastly, try to extract as much learning as possible from each official question. For ex, why are the other 4 choices wrong. Prepare a solid conceptual base in both verbal and quants. GMAT tests your reasoning skills on the applications of those concepts. You will do well. All the best. Posted from my mobile device

Achieving a score of 700+ or even higher for that matter is very much feasible with work. 3 months prep is good enough time. Whether prep course or self prep, try to be regular , note down the errors you are making and go through them again. You can refer manhattan books, solve each and every question of official guide. Try to achieve V40+ in mocks , Q49+ can be achieved with some preparation if you are already good at math. GMAT is a journey. All the very best !!
