The ratio of the cost price of Toblerone to the cost price of Wonka Bar is 7 to 9. The ratio of cost price is:

    \(7x:9x\), for some positive multiple x.

The ratio of selling price of Toblerone to the selling price of Wonka Bar is 5 to 7. The ratio of selling price is:

    \(5y:7y\), for some positive multiple y.

Wonka Industries looses the same amount on both candies:

    \(7x - 5y = 9x - 7y\);

    \(x=y\).

The question asks: what is the ratio of the cost price to the selling price of Toblerone ?

    \(\frac{7x}{5y} =\frac{ 7x}{5x} = \frac{7}{5}\).

Answer: C.
