Guys, I converted IIMB. I have IIMA interview on 25th. I will be securing the admission in IIMB but is there a good point to leave IIMB should I get into IIMA? Help me make a decision! Pros cons of both IIMA and B. Thankoyu! (Post mba goal- social impact consulting/ start a social enterprise)

Congratulations on your IIM B admit! While for many the choice between IIM A and B often boils down to preference for a particular brand, the prospect of financial aid can sometimes be the deciding factor (in case you have that option). IIMb’s location is also a notable advantage for networking and exposure to the dynamic professional scene in Bangalore especially since you are planning to pivot. But the relevance of this advantage depends on the extent to which it aligns with your clearly defined goals and first-hand insights into your chosen career path.
It depends entirely on the mood of the panel and how they perceive your application. I have observed the panels being nice to some applicants while being more difficult to others. The good cop bad cop strategy is quite prevalent on the panel so be mentally prepared for that. During the extempore debate, the most important thing is to stand your ground and speak with confidence and rational while being respectful.
