Hi,
I have mostly learned by myself so far over the last 2 months, and have understood how to go about the Verbal section, I also understand the Quant section but I am far from my goal of mastering it. DI needs work. So far, I've used gmatclub, and the OG 2023 guide, and also the OG 2023 DI review. I have also been through all the problems in the OG Quant review.
I plan to take a self-study course that would help me score at least 705 from my current score of 615 (Verbal 84 / Quant 80 / DI 79) within the next 2-3 months.
So far, I've found that eGMAT is more affordable (4 4-month course is the price of the 2-month course on TTP) but I've seen higher reviews overall for TTP, and better scores.
However, eGMAT has way more reviews overall, and positive as well.
Breaking it down:
eGMAT:
1) 5 SIGMA X Practice tests that are almost as good as the MBA.com practice tests with great insights.
2) A lot of content, right from the basics to strategies for reaching high scores.
3) Great for people just starting on their GMAT journey and want to score well in their first or second attempt.
4) More affordable.
5) Many more reviews.
Target Test Prep:
1) I am not aware of how many practice tests are on the site.
2) Content that is very high in quality as per reviews, I personally was not able to use my trial period properly as it was right before my last attempt so I might be wrong.
3) TTP is mainly for people who have experience taking the GMAT exam and know what they need to work on / what score they want to achieve, and to cross plateaus in performance.
4) Scores on average are higher.
5) Very active members on gmatclub, and Reddit, which looks quite promising.
The finance aspect is important for me as I am currently focusing only on GMAT. However, a score of 705-715 is of the utmost importance. Please let me know if there are points here that I can add to weigh my options. Any tips that would help me to reach my goal in GMAT FE would also be extremely appreciated.
Thanks
