I was rejected for the MIM. But I had the MIF as second choice, do you know when I will receive the answer for this master? And if being rejected from MIM, probably means not being accepted to the MIF? Thanks

basically it's like you are applying for the second round in MIF, so you'll receive the results based on the second round's deadlines. and yeah, usually Mif is more competitive than Mim, but you never know

Not really.

Equal Weightage is given to both. Anyways you should have a 665+ score or 323+ score to be on the safer side.

To be honest for colleges like HEC its not the score only because everybody applying with you is going to have a good score. Question is how good is the profile which will internally make the essays top notch.

Hey,

I think you should have received the answer simultaneously since the decision date for MIF was 31st October. Also the MIF program is more competitive than an MIM. I would suggest you to start thinking about applying to R2s for a couple of colleges.

We may never get a clear answer to this question, as universities don’t disclose specific numbers. Admission outcomes largely depend on the pool of candidates applying in each round, and we know these schools have a fixed number of seats. Though many universities offer multiple admission cycles each year, they tend to admit students on a rolling basis. So, if a high number of strong applicants submit in the first round, it’s logical that more seats may be filled early on, potentially impacting subsequent rounds.

So, essentially, the sooner you apply with a strong profile, the better your chances of admission.
