Hi everyone,
I’m in a bit of a dilemma and would love to get your thoughts.
I had applied to multiple MBA programs and received an offer from
TIAS School for Business and Society with a
scholarship, bringing the tuition fee down. After careful consideration at the time, I
signed and sent the acceptance letter as requested by the admissions team. However, I have
not yet paid the enrollment fee (which is non-refundable).
Now, I have received an
admission offer from Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), which was one of my top choices but didn’t offer me a scholarship. The tuition at RSM is
almost double the fee I am paying in TIAS, making it significantly more expensive than TIAS. However, RSM has a stronger global brand, better rankings, and better post-MBA opportunities.
I am now stuck between:
- Proceeding with TIAS, where I have a scholarship and lower tuition but a less globally recognized brand.
- Switching to RSM, which has stronger career prospects but comes at a much higher cost.
Since I haven’t paid any fee yet, I assume I can still withdraw from TIAS, but I am wondering if there are any implications of doing so after signing the acceptance letter.
Would love to hear from anyone who has been in a similar situation or has insights into which choice would be the best in the long run.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
