For each of the 4 quarters of last year (Quarters 1-4), the graph shows the total number of new plans sold by each of the 3 full-time sales associates (Associates X-Z) at a store that sells mobile devices and data plans for those devices. A sales associate earns a quarterly bonus if and only if he or she sells at least 50 new plans that quarter.

Solution:
1. During the quarter last year for which the 3 sales associates together sold the least number of new plans, exactly 1 of the sales associates earned a quarterly bonus.
If we check the new plans sold by each sales associate in the four quarters are as follows:
Quarter 1 X- 57, Y- 54, Z- 48.
Quarter 2 X- 48, Y- 51, Z- 47.
Quarter 3 X- 61, Y- 52, Z- 49.
Quarter 4 X- 62, Y- 48, Z- 54.
So, among all, together sold the least number of new plans by the three sales associates in Quarter 2. And, only one of the associates would get a quarterly bonus, that is, sales associate Y.
2. All 3 sales associates earned a quarterly bonus during Quarter 3.
If we scan through the graph, we would see that quarter 3 is the only quarter in which all three associates would earn a quarterly bonus, which means that a sales associate earns a quarterly bonus if he or she sells at least 50 new plans that quarter.
