Hey everyone,
I just submitted my R2 application for McCombs and am getting ready to do the video assessment.
For those who have already completed it this cycle:
What kind of questions should I expect? Is it the standard "Tell me about yourself" / "Why McCombs," or do they throw in random behavioral curveballs (e.g., "Tell me about a time you failed")?
Just trying to figure out if I need to prep specific stories or if it's mostly goals/intro based.
Thanks!
The platform is very easy to use and there are 3 test questions for you to get used to the platform.
Then your assessment begins, which consists of 5 questions and you have 30 seconds to prepare and 1 minute and 30 seconds to answer. It is not possible to see your answer or try again.
The questions are simple, and the videos with students and university staff are super clear and seem like a normal conversation you are having.
I know that the questions always vary, they are not always the same, but be prepared for questions like: "Tell me who you are beyond your professional life" and "What is your plan A and plan B post-MBA?"
