I submitted a few days before the deadline, but i forgot to mention that i am international, so maybe that is why i got mine. reading past posts it seems as though internations get notfied earlier.

I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing: the only difference is that now I have a new item "interviews" in the menu on the left. I don't know about the actual meaning of this update as when I click on it it says that "no interviews slots are available at the moment" or something like that. Don't know if everybody get the same message...

Same thing for me. I imagine it's just the new category by default, and the people who were invited to the interview can select a slot.

I submitted my Chicago App an hour before deadline! When did you submit @ robertrdzak.

Same case with Wharton. Mine went complete in a day...

Mine is also still "received." Still, worry not. Here's an excerpt from the form e-mail they sent me a week ago (you should have received it too):

Quote:
Received - This means that we've received your materials. Your status may not be changed to "Received" for about two weeks after the application deadline. If your status does not read "Received" by January 20, contact us at [email protected]

Complete - This means that all required information has been received and physically placed in your file by the operations team. If your application status doesn't read "Complete" by January 27, please contact us at [email protected]

Orion - when did chicago notify you that your app is complete ?

Did anyone else notice this interviews on the left navigation bar earlier ?

Is it there for those whose apps still say 'received' ?

PS - the mail from Rose M said you should contact them if your app is not 'complete' by Jan 27.

I see the new "Interviews" item too but with the same message: "no interviews slots are available at the moment". It doesn't make sense as a default new category though (I can't think of anything but laziness/oversight to justify it). More likely, it's for internationals that have been selected for interviews but in regions where interview slots have not been opened. Or perhaps I am saying this to make myself feel good... haha!

PS - my status still says "received"

I am not international, and I see the interview category (with no slots). But no interview invitation :-( I haven't noticed how long it's been there, but my application went "complete" day after submission.

Hmm - mine took a week, was completed sometime between 10-12th.

International in the US from a country that can't add too much diversity to any B-school :(

no invite yet.

By the way what's the interview policy of Booth ? Have Orion / class of2012 been asked to visit the campus.

I applied on Jan 6th and receiveid the following email on Jan 12th:

Your status has changed to "Complete". The next step in the process is to allow for the admissions committee to review your application. All applicants who are invited to interview will be notified by 5:00pm February 17th.

Now I can schedule my interview selecting "Interviews" in the menu bar on the left. I have the option to select an on-campus interview or complete the alumni interview matching process.
