Judging from past years and rounds, unfortunately no. I wish they did though. They probably have a small enough admit list that they could probably do calls if they wanted, even with fewer admissions staff than a Michigan might have.

Hey there Tepper applicants. So I've made the mistake of not really looking at or applying to enough schools. After looking at Tepper a bit more, I really like a lot of the things they offer, mainly the strong quant focus and the 1/2 semester course scheduling. Anyhow, am I wasting my time applying this late in the cycle? I think I would certainly be a competitive applicant had I applied Rd 1 or 2, but not so sure now.

It's a bit different with Tepper, because they have 5 rounds or something. I just submitted my app less than an hour before the R3 deadline last night. Not sure about round 4 & 5, though.

I would encourage you to submit as well. I visited the school before applying and I think they have a strong faculty a well designed program and the statistics from their career service were impressive.

If you don't get addmitted in r4, I was under the impression that re-applicants are welcome. I submitted my app in r3 because I really want to start my mba in 2010, if that is the same case for you go ahead!

That's kind of why I was thinking Tepper may actually be a reasonable school to apply to this late.

I do want to go this year, I just don't want to shoot myself in the foot for next year if things don't pan out like I'd hope :)

Tepper is not out for me. I need wait to find out if I am in for them. Just submitted my app at this point so still waiting to hear on an interview.

I only applied to a few schools which I really liked. If I am accepted to more than one school I will have a tough time making a decision. Unless one of the schools decides to grant me a scholarship :)

Not sure. Since I did do all the work and submit the application, and my recommenders submitted their recommendations, I feel kind of obligated to see it through. That said, given my Ross admit, I don't know if I'll attend Tepper if I'm accepted, although a full ride may convince me otherwise.

Thanks guys. I am planning on attending the admit weekends for any schools to which I am admitted, but I think I may need to make decisions if the admit weekends overlap.

Give it a little time. I think they interview most of the applicants with high gmats

Another important thing to keep in mind is that R2 hasn't released decisions yet. By the time we applied, R1 decisions had been released and the adcom was coming back from winter break.

I wouldn't be surprised if adcom has totally ignored R3 apps in lieu of finalizing the R2 admit/wl/ding decisions.

Good point. @TepperAdcom tweeted today something that implies they might even still be taking applications for R3:

Round 3 MBA/MSCF deadline was this past Monday, March 8th - if you haven't already submitted your application, get your materials in NOW!!

Hi Guys, I have also applied to Tepper in third round so it is really nice to know where I stand through your posts.

I was orginally going to apply for MBA this year in fall but due to some reasons I have preponed by plans.

Since I started late pretty much am applying to schools in third round. :(

Not much hope but trying to stay positive.

So, will Tepper adcoms start sending out emails on Monday? Or will there be a status change on the applyyourself website? How did Rd1 find out?
