1. Describe an obstacle you have faced in your professional or academic life. How did you overcome this obstacle and how did it foster your development?
Just to confirm this is not the right place to talk about weaknesses, right ?
Is it ok to write an obstacle which is like 10 years old?

I would not use one that far behind. My thoughts on this is that it is not so much about the size of the obstacle but about how you handled it. If you have a more recent event where you can show your reasoning, actions taken and results that shoud be a better answer.
Tigger, I think you should shoot them an email. To me (a complete outsider in the admissions process), this looks like something might have gotten lost along the way. Maybe your interviewer forgot to file a report. Or, maybe everything is fine and you'll find out any minute. I know it's a tough spot to be in, but I think a well crafted email, or phone call is the right play here.
