The fast solution is to delete and reinstall the app. But it that case you will lose all data. If you have a recent backup, you can restore the app from it. If those options do not work for you, I will contact Apple asking about how to restore app's data. And even if they say that there is no way to restore data, the last thing we can do it to submit a fast update, so the App Store will install and hopefully it will work but it may take up to 2 weeks.

Here is a workaround how to update the app without using its data. It's a long list with many steps. Basically, you need to back up iPad/iPhone, reinstall the app, restore iPad/iPhone from the last back up. Please, let me know if it works.
