Based on past round, after what time frame from the application deadline do the invitation for interviews tentatively get sent out?

I submitted R1 on the deadline of Oct 13 and got an email telling me my application was ready for review on Oct 26. Then I didn't hear anything else until Dec 9, when I got an email telling me that R1 applications were still under review. I didn't get my interview invite til Dec 15, which was less than a month before the R1 announcement date. However, due to the admissions offices being closed from Dec 22-Jan 3, that month was more like 2 weeks of actual working time. And there were plenty of R1 applicants who got interview invites that first week of January, and some of them were accepted.

Moral of the story--don't be freaking out if you haven't heard anything yet.

EBSIFounder seems like you are already accepted to 2 other univs. Any idea which you might pick. Asking just out of curiosity. It would be great to be in your shoes. :) All my apps are in R2. So I am hanging in tight and waiting for some interview calls.

Had my interview yesterday with an alum in NYC. I have to say they paired us really well. We both had science degrees, went into consulting and he went into finance after bschool. Participated in a lot of venture capital stuff in campus which is what I want to do. I really enjoyed my interview with him. it was about 45 min.

Questions were pretty straightforward:
Walk me through your decisions and how to got here?
Why MBA?
Why now?
Why Haas?
What will you take from xx job that u will bring to Haas?
What will your boss say are your 3 strengths?
One thing he would change?

Then we moved to "what do you want to know from me?" This was my fave part. we covered a lot actually, from classes, activities, recruitment to social functions and living situations.

Here's hoping he had the same takeaways.

Not sure yet ... scholarships / money will also play a part. Right now, Duke is my top choice because I am healthcare guy and Duke's HSM program is as good as any

I'm an international (UK) app and had my interview in London last week. It was pretty straightforward - he just wanted to know if I was a good fit for the school / why I wanted to do an MBA / why Haas etc. And a bit on leadership and teamwork. He seemed to know nothing about scholarships though which are pretty important for me (I have a Fulbright award but it's only $25k). Has anybody else heard anything about scholarships?

I didn't specifically apply for scholarships but I was told about my merit scholarship when I received the admit call. Since the admit call there has been a few follow up emails on other scholarship/fellowship opportunities; all of them require additional application. I know they give out the merit scholarship to international students because a section of my scholarship email specifically says "if you are an international student receiving this scholarship...blah blah"

haven't heard a thing.

from northern california, i've heard of one or two CA residents on this forum who've received invites - everyone else is out of state. maybe they look at CA residents last?
