I received an interview invite earlier this afternoon. Round 3 applicant, submitted a few days before the deadline.
Are you from CA?

Hey you guys! I have one question regardng my application status report.
I was invited for an interview last week which means, accordining to the webpage, that Haas requires “an official transcript and degree certificate issued by Universidad de Los Andes in the original language with an official English translation”. Does this mean I can send the original transcripts myself with the official translations or do I have to ask for my University to send the documents and translations in a sealed envelope (like you do with WES or other data verification agencies)?
Thanks for your help!

You can send both of them yourself as long as they are the original ones (or attested from the university itself). Don't forget to send the original degree certificate too. I sent in only the transcripts and i was asked to send the degree certificate too.

Just got in! (i think) Just got a call from the Director of Admissions -- actually a voice message. I am traveling internationally on business, and her call came in wee hours of the morning local time. The message said "I'm calling with good news". I have still have to call back, but have to wait till it is business hours in Berkeley.

Really?! I didn't think there would any admit calls for a while... were you a R1 waitlisted maybe?

Whatever your situation is, do let us know what the call was about :)

Sorry I just made a tongue-in-cheek remark. Maybe if you share your profile and interests, folks in this forum may chip in with what they think.

No worries. Undergrad business degree w concentration in finance. GPA 3.8, GMAT 760 (Q49, V44). Co-founder of media/e-commerce company w significant success (coverage in businessweek, wired, etc., deals w high profile companies & individuals) which ultimately shut-down in 2009. Since shutdown, middle management in biotech operations. Focus on entrepreneurship / growing companies.
