the link they gave seems to have one extra "."(period) before "com" and will probably lead you to invalid link. just remove the period to proceed.

I should have just applied for R1. I'm nervous and I don't have a decision coming until the end of next round! It's going to be a long 6 weeks

I'm a R1 as well. Interviewed with the first batch in early November.
I've been following this site for a loooonnnggg time, and i don't think I'm on the role call yet. Whoever is in charge, feel free to add me to the roll call.

Good luck to everyone thats applied or is looking to. I drove up from Chicago to check out the campus - its awesome. For you round 2ers, if you get invited, do it justice by visiting the campus. The new building & Ann Arbor are both great - you won't regret it.

Yes, I am in the same boat. Be ready for a warm rejection notification. They are reporting the result to everyone it seems.

Guys,

I´ll try to explain a little more.

All R1 applicants will receive this email (those interviewed, and those not). The decision will be posted through the website that we have to access with the username and password that we are supposed to create, and the UM ID they sent in the email.

Final decision will be in this website in the 14th, as expected.

For those who are apporved, this website will give access to the entire Ross and UM web infrastructure. For those who are not accepted, just the final decision.

Regarding calls, they may call some of the accepted. As far as I heard today from one 1Year, the ADCOM may not enough staff to call all the accepted, so don´t panic. Just log into the stuff and check the final decision.

Everyone who applied in Round 1 should get the email. According to the blog post, some people who weren't interviewed will be waitlisted. I liked what Harvard did by notifying everyone they weren't interviewing that they were rejected a few weeks after the deadline.

Edit: New blog post on the Ross website: "...checking my blog to see if there's any news about when admit calls will begin. (I can't promise whether "early" means Monday or Tuesday). But the calls will continue through the week, with the goal of reaching all admits by January 14..."

I can say with certainty that I am not impressed by the Ross Admissions staff. They can neither confirm nor deny that my application is in for Round 2 due to my recommender's logistics. And after being on hold and disconnected multiple times, they did not provide a valid email address over the phone for this inquiry.

Honestly, the only school's adcom I've been impressed with is Booth. The day after the deadline they sent detailed information on what happens next, and have continued it since. No other school that I've applied to communicated as well.

But Ross has a good blog: https://rossblogs.typepad.com/admissions/
The Round 2 application deadline is January 5. Interview invitations will go out in batches again. Our goal is to get the first set of invitations out on January 17.

It's a pretty quick turnaround, considering schools get 60% of their applications in round 2.

Regardless, it's better than undergrad. When I applied, we still used paper applications (so old). You put a stamp on it, and didn't hear anything until you got an accept or reject. We're part of the information age, so we expect an instant decision, when in reality there are a lot of factors and hundreds of packages to sort through.

I understand that...but they had the inability to access my application to confirm that it's within the allotted round (others schools are able to do this without issues). Most importantly, they provided me with an invalid email address. Seriously, what school doesn't know their own email address?! Why aggravate applicants who are already stressed out?! Pardon my ranting, but I find this to be slightly unreasonable considering the hefty application fees and tuition that comes with the application process.

:fyi

The director of admissions said that they will call all admits beginning as early as Monday and they will continue through the week.
