One they started early yesterday and continued till their evening but today no news till now..I think they would like to spread the remaining calls over Wed n Thurs..Two, if you see the number of people reporting yesterday and extrapolate it to the number who would have actually been called..then assuming 200-250 total calls for R1 the number remaining looks less.. though i wish i am completely wrong as I I am feeling very nervous myself and don't want any negative thoughts......

The glass is half full.... I think we should fixate on Soojin's blog as it says calls will continue through the week. It hasn't let us down so far. Hang tight and positive thoughts!

So, I just checked with one of the members of the admissions committee who is making the calls and here is a summary of what I got:
- Calls will go out today and should finish by close of business tomorrow (~ 5 PM EST)
- Calls are in no particular order. Domestic and international applicants will get calls today. I repeat: there is no order to the calls
- Some admits will not get a call – just an e-mail due to time zone differences
- Scholarship information should be included in your call/e-mail. If there is no mention of it, it is likely you haven't got any $$$ from Ross

Hope that eases some of the tension here!

the vast majority of people reporting acceptances seem to have received their interview invites in the first round sent out around 10/25.

maybe those receiving interview invites were the preferred candidates?

or acceptance calls might be going by final decision time?...(odds are those people interviewed earlier and final decisions were made for their application earlier)

also seems to be a good number of super saturday invite/accepteds...

Yeah I interviewed in the earlier batch but am still waiting! But I do a lot of super saturday admits which doesn't surprise me as they were the preferred candidates. But again still waiting...

Actually I think the MGT consulting pool is less than the IT consulting pool. So that helps a little.
