Quick question, not sure if anyone has a concrete answer but am just throwing it out there: When in December does CBS start reviewing the Regular Decision apps? Is it middle of December, beginning? Thanks.
When I went to a Columbia Business School off-campus event a couple months ago, the admissions staff person conducting the session gave the impression that they didn't have a set date to start reviewing September-entry regular decision applications. That said, she said that last year, they started their rolling review of completed regular decision applications by the middle of December, and expected that they would do the same this year as well.
Maybe someone with more current information can chime in too.
I think it's largely going to mid- to late-December when they start looking at applications, but most of the heavy lifting in reviewing applications will probably start in January. Adcom is pulling long days right now going through all the Early Decision applications, and once all the Early Decision applications are settled on, Adcom members are going to deserve a little breather before they have to do it all again. Add in the holidays, and I think most will hear about interviews in January at the earliest.
