Does anyone know if Yale gives out scholarship information when they call to deliver their notifications of admission?

When I applied 2 years ago, they notified some of us with scholarship information during the call. However, you may qualify for other scholarships later on, depending on various circumstances (yield, availability, etc)

Thanks for posting your stats phillymba2012.

Also, do not make up any decision on your bschool (not just YSOM) until the schools are done wining and dining you.

Folks! I've been lurking for a while and I am just now posting for the first time - I received an interview invite on 10/15/2010, and interviewed on 11/18/2010... pretty much on the last day of "official interviews".

I have not heard a thing. I have been staring at my cell phone for the last 6 hours... anymore and the damn thing will melt! I gotta say: the wait is so painful that it's making me laugh... out of frustration and despair.

To those of us still waiting... it's not over until the fat lady starts to sing! let's hang in there, folks! Good night!

Interviewed in October..no news yet

Strange thing happened, I checked my application status and it says that my undergrad transcript is "awaiting". Obv it was in before my interview. When I asked them about it they kinda gave me a generic response about allowing four weeks after submission for docs to come together. Any thoughts on why that may be? Happened to anyone else?

The fact that they started calling 2 days before the decision date indicates (at least to me) that thy are determined to call every admitted applicant (except for internationals - that's either a hit or miss depending on the time zone). In the past, all the admitted students (US based), either received a voicemail or a phone call. In the past, decisions (whether it's an interview invite or etc) did go out on the decision date.

I can't believe that reapplicants have not heard anything so far. One way or another, stay positive and everything else will work out in the end.

Best thing to do is contact your undergraduate registrar and confirm that they actually mailed out the transcript. I called my UG when I did not see any indication that they actually cashed the check that I sent them for transcript service. When I did call, they did confirm that they actually mailed it to my target bschools.

Only 18! That means they'll admit more people in round 2. Yeehaa...
