I'm in the same boat with people that were verified mid-February, but never got an email.

Well if I am getting dinged, I'm going to enjoy every moment before I know for sure.

Eskimoroll, who's also an R1 admit, got one as well, but last I heard he's not enrolling.

Where are you going dalillama? Have you chosen between Booth, Kellogg, and MIT?

Choose 'Print Application' and scroll down to the gmat section. There are some more specific instructions a few pages back if needed.

Well, here is the problem, unless we know how they get the score reports from GMAC, we don't really know what they are doing. With the admit hypothesis there is still the problem of why they need our score reports when they have already verified them. While very, very unlikely, you could also potentially make the opposite argument--seeing as how they keep a reapplicant file for those that don't get in for two years, they could also be pulling the ding's reports to have a final record for comparison purposes next year ( to see if you re-took the exam and compare). Not very likely, but who knows? (maybe wishful thinking on my end since I did not get the email and was verified on 02/14)

When they start making calls tommorrow, we should be able to figure it out pretty quickly, within the first two hours if there is a trend or not....(hopefully not).

I think it could also have to do with the email preferences each person set up when they started their GMAC account. When I look at my account information (I don't think I can post a screen shot), I see that I chose NOT to receive information from any schools regarding program information. I didn't receive this email from Kellogg, but I also haven't received any emails from ANY schools about GMAT submission or any other application milestone.

Regardless, I'm starting to feel a bit foolish about putting this much thought into this when we'll all know our individual status within 24 hours. Good luck to all!

Ooo. We may have a winner. My settings are the same way.

Hey everybody, I would re-focus our attention to the folks who called admissions and were clearly told that the official/unofficial score report is not an issue. AdComs are way too professional to give incorrect or crucially incomplete advice, especially to a direct question like "Do I need to do XYZ regarding my official GMAT score report." And like the Ross glitch taught us, there really aren't any conclusions we can draw re: admit status based on such technical details, like whether we received a verification email or not, etc. FYI I didn't get the email, and I'm not sweating it (yet) because I am positive it means nothing, seriously! Remember: thousands of apps coming in, lots of internal changes/coding processes in the online system as AdCom uploads info, any Comp. Sci major would tell us there's no way to draw a conclusion from one email being sent out to some applicants.

We're all totally justified in being in freak out mode, but I still hope this helps in some small way for people to relax today before we start expecting calls! Like Mondays aren't hard enough :o

Agreed.

However, I see this more as an exercise in group dynamics and detecting trends. :-).

I believe they call everyone, not just ones in the US
