We do not review applications in groups but the reader will have access to the previous readers' reviews. Our office hires students to serve as Admissions Fellows. These students will review the files(and conduct our on campus interviews.) Once the Fellows complete their review an admissions officer reviews and will make a recommendation. At this time a candidate is invited to interview or recommended for denial. If denial the Associate Dean will review the file. If invited to interview, after the interview takes place, the file is reviewed again by an admissions officer. A recommendation is made and ultimately the Associate Dean makes the final decision. We do not compare students between rounds; we only evaluate applications based on each round. The chances of being admitted are very similar from one round to the next. Are there messages or activities that you have not yet been able to communicate to the committee? If so, then the presentation will be an opportunity for you to provide us with this type of information. Booth needs to stop doing this man!!! I got an e-mail from admissions that my status is now "Complete" (something I was expecting). But just reading an e-mail from an e-mail address showing up as "admissions" gets my heart beating faster. Now the wait begins. Good luck - Cheers!

We should start hearing about interview invites tomorrow.........so nervous!

it seems Booth reads the applications by submission date? I submitted 10 days before the deadline and my application was "completed" the day after the deadline... If I don't receive an invite tomorrow... bad thing

Someone asked this question during Booth Live and Adcom insisted that it's random: submission date affects when your application goes complete, of course, but once complete, it has no bearing on when it's read. So don't lose hope if you don't get invited tomorrow. I'm holding out hope until the very last day

If they don't review apps by order received then I wonder how they're sorting through and prioritizing... (maybe GMAT scores? in which case I'll likely be at the bottom of the pile, assuming a descending order).

So I'm guessing they start reviewing once the file goes complete? Or do they review while the file is still under processing. The reason I ask is because my file just went complete today. So I'm trying to figure out how quickly would I receive an interview invite (if any). Good luck!

I wouldn't worry about getting an interview invitation tomorrow, or the time of day that these invitations will begin rolling out. They announced a two-week invitation period, because they intend to use the entire two weeks. If you must panic, save it for November 10th.

I second the above. I'm reminding myself that the REAL date to worry about is Nov 10th... not tomorrow, the 27th... If I get an invite between the 27th and the 10th, then that's just a wonderful surprise. Other than that, I'm keeping my eyes set on the 10th (and the 5th for Wharton)
