@Warrior007 I'm only guessing, but I'd bet that your app wasn't weak; you made the WL! That puts you in the top 25-30% of all applicants to Booth.
I can only imagine how difficult it must be for people on the WL. However frustrating it is, you shouldn't give up hope and you should look to find more reasons for Booth to convert you to an admit. I think something people forget is that part of what goes into the decision between admit and WL will be the 'uniqueness' of the applicant: "what have you done that makes you different from every other applicant". Considering the profile of an 'average' Booth student (or any student at a top 10 school), professional achievements probably aren't going to be enough. My advice (based on absolutely no adcom experience, just my own observations/research/interactions etc.) would be to find the achievements from outside your work place and highlight those - give the adcom a more rounded view of who you are and what drives you.
Anyway, good luck to you and everyone else on the WL, and try not to lose hope.
