I'm a late round admit. I am now debating between Ross and UCLA. I want to work in the investment management field in Asia without any prior IB or IM experience. I am not sure which school is more reputable in that region for finance. Any suggestions?

In my mind both schools are well known in Asia ... maybe not as strongly recognised as H/S/W. Speak to current students looking to do what you are and study the recruitment stats for what you want to do. I think UCLA may have an edge for finance and Ross might have the edge for consulting, marketing or general management. Thats just my guess. And finally see where you fit best and will enjoy spending 2 years, sometimes thats the deciding factor between schools in the same tier.

Perhaps I'm putting too much weight in Applied Management Research program (AMR) but I feel like career switchers can benefit the most from AMR.
When you complete a project that will be most pertinent to your future career goals, at least in my mind, it demonstrates your aptitude as well as your passion.
But I imagine Ross has similar opportunities as well.
Its gotten pretty quiet in here, but maybe friday will be pretty busy like last week was. I may be grasping at straws here but as of yesterday the facebook group for the class of 2013 was only like 135 people, and I believe the target class size is 300+. So maybe they still have a TON more admits to give out........

Oh man, BMR, I certainly hope so! I've also been thinking that they may release more admits tomorrow.
Did anyone (from all rounds) hear anything today? I noticed on the interview site that the last interview finished late yesterday. I guess this means that we'll have to wait until next week for any developments...Unless some got in! Please post if that's the case, thanks!
Are fellowships pretty common at UCLA or across schools in general? Seems like a lot of people are getting fellowships, which is great.
Reason why I'm asking is it makes me wonder if for some reason, I opt to decline this year and apply 1-2 years again down the road, would I really be giving up much in terms of say, a 60k, fellowship?
I'm at a career crossroads so I'd appreciate any thoughts. Thanks!
