I try to solve the problem by using the matrix approach. Due to insufficient information provided by both statements, I was unable to solve the problem but if you feel that my answer is incorrect then please provide me some logical approach and correct me where am I wrong.

Thanks!

Train A leaves the station at 5:00, and travels north at 50 miles per hour. If train B leaves the same station some time later, heading in the same direction as train A, at what time will train B overtake train A?

(1) Train B leaves the station at 6:00. Insufficient
(2) Train A travels at 5/6 the speed of train B. Insufficient

Even both the statements together are insufficient to answer the ques.

IMO is E

poojaarora1818 I believe the answer is C. You can solve this question using both the statements.

DhruvBadaya I was confused between choice C and E. Thanks for the correction. Answer choice C seems to be the correct one.
