Hi,
I've recently concluded my GMAT journey, having taken the GMAT Classic on the 31st and scored a 690 (Q45 V40), which is at the lower end of my target program (Stanford MSX). My target was a 730. Nevertheless, the program I'm aiming for accepts the EA, and hence I have decided to shift my focus to the EA. EA's percentile distribution appears more favourable, coupled with the fact that it offers smoother transition from the GMAT Classic. For instance, it has the SC, which is a strong point for me now, which the Focus doesn’t.
However, I'm here to seek insights from those familiar with both tests. Beyond the absence of geometry in the EA, are there other content areas the EA does not cover? I've encountered numerous mentions of the EA's business-oriented focus, yet I'm keen on understanding how this emphasis is reflected in the questions itself. Specifically, I'm curious if the wealth of content and questions available on GMAT Club for the GMAT remains applicable to the EA, or if there are particular question types I can afford to avoid?
To those who have made this transition from the GMAT to the EA, your advice would be invaluable. What tips could you share to facilitate a seamless transition?
Thank you for your time and support.
