While i'm copying mathematical terms to MS Word file, the formula / math function copies twice and the powers got broken up. As for example, while i copy the following sentences to MS word 2007 file, i get the abnormal content copied there. A screen shot of the word file is attached herewith.

i. If $$n = 2^a * 3^b * 5^c * 7^d$$, then ...
ii. 4 different prime numbers are factors of n^2 --> $$n^x$$ (where $$x$$ is an integer $$\geq{1}$$) will have ...
iii. We get $$n^2 = 2^{2a} * 3^{2b} * 5^{2c} * 7^{2d}$$ etc

Would you please enlighten me how can I perfectly copy mathematical terms of Quant Forum to a word file?

Hm.... It is an interesting phenomenon. Have not been aware of it.... i think it is a side effect of the LATEX upgrade we did about a year ago (Latex is the math system we use and we had to upgrade it due to the old system having issues and being phased out). Historically formulas have copied as images into word but I guess no more.

A few suggestions around it:
1. Use the PDF feature in the Question forums
2. Use the print preview - e.g. here it is for this post
3. Screenshot the post as an image?
4. This long discussion: https://www.researchgate.net/post/LaTeX ... mendations
