1st post! Wonder what that says about my interest at Tuck
I heard Tuck Connections is a great way to not only demonstrate interest and learn more about Tuck but also help increase one's chance of admission.
With that assumption in mind, is there any benefit to signing up for Tuck Connections after app submission and interview completion? I mean, would the information that I signed up/did Tuck Connections be reflected in my application file for review?
I'd be interested to do so regardless, but I'd lean towards not doing it if it does not reflect in my app, because by not doing it I save the trouble for admission's arranging it and Tuckie's having to spend time to accommodate me. I already know it's my #1 choice and I'd love to go there.
Any insight is appreciated, be it from Tuck insiders (admissions, students, alums) or current applicants.
Thank you!!

I think it will make little difference. Quite a lot of applicants (esp internationals) like to check the boxes e.g. make these school visits and talk to certain people for the sake of doing so and I think sometimes adcoms know that and it may reflect negatively.

I understand why the "make little difference" part, but I'd like to hear your thoughts behind thinking that "it may reflect negatively".
During the school visit an adcom member specifically said "schools like to feel the love".. I'm sure all schools do but I'd feel that's especially true for Tuck. Hence I don't see how it'll reflect negatively.
Once adcom gets the impression that you are checking the boxes by doing certain things for the sake of doing it then it may leave a sour taste. If you do want to reach out perhaps the positioning has to be very carefully considered. I'm a Tuck admit for 2017 and I hope you get in!
