Hi everyone,
I am fortunate to have received bunch of admits but now I am having difficult time deciding. As the title suggests I have Tuck, Yale, Ross, Fuqua, LBS admit, and Kellogg awaited with 0 to $80k scholarship.
Background: Indian engineer with 5 years of experience in MBB backend office (think Mckinsey Knowledge Center/Bain Capability Center) specializing in commercial excellence space.
Post-MBA goals: MBB generalist consulting (no office preference) and Tech strategy and ops as backup.
All of these are peer schools and I am having hard time differentiating. I believe all can lead me to MBB.
Based on this Ross seems obvious choice (lowest cost of living, and highest scholarship)
But Yale's brand name back in India is hard to ignore (I don't have immediate plans of returning to India but maybe in next 5-7 years)
I also feel I might be better fit at Tuck, I sense Ross would be little too outgoing for me
Questions: I would love forum's inputs on:
Any suggestions how I should approach this choice?
Would Yale/Tuck be willing to negotiate? How should I approach the negotiation discussion?
