Two business partners who operate a truck have agreed that neither partner will drive the truck for more than 10 hours in any calendar day. The graph shows the number of kilometers that the truck was driven during each of 12 consecutive calendar days. On days 7, 8, 9, and 11, the driving time was equally divided between the two partners. On each of the other days, only one of the partners drove. No one else drove the truck. Everywhere the truck was driven during the period shown, the maximum speed limit was 100 kilometers per hour or less.

Based on the information provided, select from each drop-down menu the option that creates the most accurate statement.

If the information in the graph and accompanying text is accurate and if neither driver violated the speed limit at any time, it follows that the agreed-on maximum driving time per day was exceeded on Day and also on Day

With time, rate and distance given to us for various days and the possibility of 2 drivers instead of 1, each of who could drive at a different speeds (since they don't exceed speed limit but they can easily drive below it), it didn't seem that days 7, 8, 9, and 11 will be a part of the calculation. It would give too many options. So even before reading the question stem, I am planning to evaluate those days at the end, if required.

If the information in the graph and accompanying text is accurate and if neither driver violated the speed limit at any time, it follows that the agreed-on maximum driving time per day was exceeded on Day ___ and also on Day ___

Agreed upon maximum time per day:
They have agreed that neither partner will drive the truck for more than 10 hours in any calendar day

This was violated on at least 2 days. From the first drop down, we see options 6, 7, 8, 9.
So I will check 6 first (when only one person drove). More than 1200 kms driven, speed never more than 100 mph so time taken was certainly more than 12 hrs. Since only one person drove on this day, he drive for more than 12 hrs. So agreed-on maximum driving time was exceeded.

Select 6

In the second drop down, we see options 10, 11 and 12. I will try 10 since only one person drove on 10th day. Again distance driven is more than 1200 kms. So same logic as above.

Select 10
