I think its really big on the West coast (particularly in So Cal). When I was out visiting Haas - I actually met a hiring manager in the airport and he mentioned the a pretty significant portion of his shortlisted group was Anderson students. Its also big enough that they reference Anderson in an episode of Entourage.

Are there any Anderson students out here? I am really having a hard time contacting and trying to get to know any Anderson students. Hard to find any student ambassadors online. I'd like to speak with any if there's anyone here! Holler at me or reply to this post, and I'll shoot you an email.

Good Evening Everyone! Congratulations to everyone that is taking this exciting step and submitting applications to MBA programs. I am a FEMBA student at Anderson, and wanted to make myself available to anyone that has questions about the application process or the experience. I know there is a lot to take in, weigh and worry about as this waiting game progresses. One of the most frequent questions I get about the process is the about the interviews. The "Super Saturday" admission interviews can be daunting, but they are administered by students and alums that are passionate about the program, and just want to learn more about you guys. They are not gatekeepers, and although it is easier said then done, just take a breath relax, and treat it like another opportunity to learn about the program and get that added dimension beyond rankings speculation, and admission statistics. Hey guys, my submission status still says "Submitted". What's up with that?? When can I expect that to change? Is it normal that 2 weeks after the R1 deadline the status remains unchanged?

Has anyone submitted Rd1 through the consortium. I am trying to now but have come across a problem on the application when inputting UCLA's essay. The text box has a ax limit set for 4000 characters but it is a 750 word essay, which is a little more than 5 letters per word with no spaces. Has anyone else encountered this and if so how did you resolve this problem?

Mine, too Guys, do you think Anderson might start sending out some invitations tomorrow? I think the chances are slim, coz haven't heard of anybody whose application status has changed from "Submitted"~

Guys any idea about expected date of interview invitations?

I was just checking out last year's forum, and it looks like interview invites started to trickle in right around this time (november 12th). So, hopefully a few of us will get some good news this week!... I am in desperate need of good news after a double ding last week. Good luck!
