Hi there

There is little downside in applying for Yale and Haas (except for the application fees) assuming that you have prepared your essays and materials already (as the deadlines are imminent). Yale and Anderson can be considered as peer schools but Yale edges it because of its bigger global brand name, which may be more important given that you are an international. In fact, I would think Haas is a tier above Anderson. With MBA schools, you can only attend once in your lifetime (generally) so it is imperative that you give yourself the maximum options available for you to make an informed decision.

Congrats! If your goal is marketing I think any of those schools can get you there. Yale or Haas may be perceived slightly higher, but Anderson is still a very good school and can you there just fine. Just look at their most recent job placement report plenty of folks from there doing what you want to do.

Plus, there's no guarantee that you'll get into Haas or Yale in round 2. Unless you're willing to pay the ucla deposit and lose it. I personally would take the Anderson offer and enjoy yourself.
