Hi Akashyap13,

Since you were studying for the GMAT almost 8 years ago, did you end up taking the Exam at that time? If you did, then how did you score (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)? The Exam has gone through some changes since then (it's a bit shorter and you now have the opportunity to take the GMAT at your home - as opposed to having to travel to a Test Center).

Have you done any consistent studying recently or are you looking to restart your studies now?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Instead of looking for Gmat coaches, try online self-study courses. TTP is highly recommended and has delivered results

i'm unable to decide how to get to 700club, i'm trying to score more then 700+ in GMAT, i have 14+ years of experience. i have spoken to a lot many people who coach for GMAT however either they are too expensive like 200 USD an hour or they tell me to look for GMAT waiver colleges, i'm already an MBA for a II tier MBA college in India, i want second degree from the best of Business Schools preferably Kellog, Insead,Cornell & others who have programs in strategy or strategic management. Is there anyone who has coached a student like me or anyone who was in the same boat. would appreciate your help. TIA

Hi Akashyap13

To score 700+ on GMAT, the most important thing to keep in mind is to follow a structured approach. The key is to follow the right sequence of study for both verbal and quant. In addition, I would also recommend that you focus on learning the right methodologies for solving the different question types as opposed to just practicing questions. You can go through the articles below to understand the approach in a better way.

And you can go through the recording below to understand how to strategize your GMAT prep in an effective way.

Regarding guidance, you can check out Heeral's story for some success tips where she shares how mentorship played a pivotal role by helping her fine tune her weak areas to achieve her dream GMAT score 700+:

Hope this helped and feel free to contact if you have any further queries.

Hi Akashyap13,

No tutor or course, no matter how good, is a ticket to a 700.
