Unable to Update Profile / Complete Payment While Booking GMAT Slot

Question

Hi,

I’m trying to book a GMAT test slot, but the payment isn’t going through because the site keeps asking me to update my profile (specifically the field about when I plan to begin my MBA program).

When I click “Edit” in the profile section, the page simply refreshes without letting me change anything — it’s stuck in a loop. I am afraid I will lose out on all the near term exam slots that I am keen to book. What do I do? Is there a step I am missing in the edit option?

Has anyone faced this issue or found a workaround? I’ve already reached out to GMAT customer care; they redirected me to the Asia-Pacific customer care contact, who in turn asked me to email APAC customer care, and now I am waiting to hear back.

Please advise on next best steps here.

Hi!

Yes! The issues seem to have started about 36 hours ago.

The workaround has been to call and book directly.

Hi  bb ,

No till now I could nt book it.Even through phone call I could not book it..they had asked me to wait and said that it will sorted it out in 3 to 5 working days.

Don't worry...Iam facing the same issue.Speak with customer care and raise the complaint They will issue a ticket number.

If possible please inform me if the problem is sorted out!!!

They will ask you to wait in call for 45 mins .but the problem will not be sorted out..only option we have now is we have to patient till the problem is sorted out!!

The calling option for booking a slot is only available from 9am - 6pm IST .. I will call them in the morning and update here, hopefully a slot can be booked. 3 to 5 days is quite some time given the slots will all get booked by then

It's not possible to book through call also.I tried that too.For that only u have to wait in call for 45 mins.Give a try but don't have full hope on that.Be prepared and have some alternate planning!!!

I tried booking the test slot over the phone this morning, but the customer care representative encountered the same error message and was unable to resolve it. I was kept on hold for some time, but the call was disconnected before I received any update.  Rajaramr23  I guess your experience was the same..

I’ve written again to the APAC customer care team for assistance. However, I’m wondering if it might help to also contact the central GMAT support team, since this appears to be a website-wide issue rather than a region-specific one.

Please advise on what I can do next. I am very concerned about missing out on the upcoming test slots.

From website .they had updated my profile..but i didn't receive any mail..so u keep on checking ur profile details!!!

Hi,

I've booked my test slot. The GMAT Customer Care via phone was able to update my profile information and then I booked the test via the website.

The edit options on the website are working as well now.
