I am soliciting for advice from the intelligent forum lurkers...
I have recently been accepted into KFBS and Johnson, and feel extremely blessed to have the predicament of where to spend the next two years of my life. Both schools are excellent academic institutions that place fairly well in consulting. Both schools have been very willing to help a military applicant.
Background:
-Undergraduate from a Public School in New Jersey
-Spent the last 4 years in the U.S. Military as an Intelligence Officer
Short Term Goal:
-Job: Consulting with McKinsey, Bain, Booz, BCG, Deloitte, Accenture, A.T. Kearney
-Location: VA, MD, DE, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA
KFBS:
-Public Ivy.
-Great college town, which expanding business opportunities in the Research Triangle.
-More enjoyable social life. Better sports, weather, and feel.
-Experiential learning opportunities (STAR).
-Great placement stats in the South and growing in the Northeast.
-Focus on leadership development.
Johnson:
-Ivy League brand.
-Higher ranked.
-Strong alumni connections in desired post-MBA locations.
-Relatively close proximity to NYC, Boston, Philadelphia, DC.
-Immersion program seems like a very solid exposure opportunity.
-Long term salary growth. Total career pay from Johnson exceeds KFBS.
-Closer to my family/friends/business connections.
Any thoughts, feelings, curses, and general comments are welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Leshota

UPDATE:
I was accepted into Ross (Michigan), wait-listed at McDonough (Georgetown), and denied at Darden (UVA). I plan on removing myself from McDonough's wait-list after I submit my deposit.
So now my options are Kenan-Flagler (UNC), Johnson (Cornell), and Ross (Michigan). Again I am looking to enter strategic consulting in the northeast post-MBA.
Any thoughts?
