Urgent(Gmat Date-6th): Suggestion required for identification document

Hi there,

I have an appointment on 6th July (that is 36 hours from now). I am an indian applicant. My passport is currently somewhere in New Delhi for Visa stamping.
I do have other identification documents such as Driving license, PAN and Voter Id with me.
Will I be allowed to write the exam without passport? It makes me very anxious to cancel the exam.
Anyone who has any idea on how to deal with?
I have dropped a mail to GMAC, however I haven't got a reply.

Hi,

You need your passport for the exam. They only accept the Passport as the valid identification. Other proofs are not acceptable.

So I would suggest you to reschedule your exam to a future date where you are sure that your passport would arrive after the Visa Stamping.

Rescheduling the test would cost you about $50. It is better than losing the $250.

Thanks for prompt reply. The rescheduling fees would be 250 now. Will it make a sense to take a chance at the centre?
Or doing so, will result in a no-show and will result in that being highlighted in my scores that I send.

You will not get much help from Test center since this the GMAC rules. You can check it in the Handbook.

And it wouldn't show in your official score report if you miss the test.
