Hi All, I need to decide by 14th Feb. I have Warwick (25% Scholarship) and IIM-L IPMX. I know it is an apple vs orange comparison but I have to make a decision.
Background: Indian, B.Tech (IIT), 10 years of Work Ex in startups mostly in Product roles. Ran my startup, failed and got acquihired.
Post MBA goal: STG - Work in Product Management in the FinTech domain. LTG - Entrepreneurship.
Warwick - High fees and living costs. Fees after scholarship $54k. Living costs are also high. Getting a job as an Indian in the UK market will be challenging.
IIM L - Limited scope of roles 50%+ are placed in IT. No international opportunity. Fees including living costs are $34k.
If any alumni of Warwick and IIM L could shed some light on this it would be great.

Congrats on your admits.
You can always look at your decision from the opposite end and consider your long-term goal and where it’s more likely to succeed, in the UK or in India. Where do you see yourself at that point?
If you need to be in India to achieve it, there’s no point in going to the United Kingdom. Otherwise, I’d say you work in London for a few years and then would have to abandon everything and come back to India to launch your startup or engage in entrepreneurship?
Same way as if you’re long-term goal is more likely to succeed in the United Kingdom then it makes sense to take a greater risk and go to school there.
