Hi
mrahul,
Thank you for your post. Since I do not know your background, my answer will be a bit generic. Indeed, b-schools want to offer admission to those that don't already hold a degree and need an MBA for their career progression. However, admission is possible in instances where your current MBA does not help with your career trajectory. Why do you need a second MBA? Why do you need a two year MBA? Why now?

Good luck!

Hi. I am Rahul. I have recently taken GMAT and got 720. I already have an MBA from not so reputed govt.college in India. Some schools in US such as DARDEN, TUCK, and HAAS have a clear policy to not admit people with MBA degree already. The other schools in US say that one needs to justify second MBA but some people say that though these schools say that they admit people with MBA, in practice they don't consider those applicants. Is this true? Should I not apply for 2 year MBA programs of US? Can someone throw some light on this please.
