Hey all,

I have been invited for an interview with USC Marshall for MS Finance. Does anyone have any idea about the style of the interview? Will there be any technical questions?

This is a fit based interview. Types of questions to expect include the following:

1) Why a Masters in Finance?
2) Why a MSF at USC?
3) Walk me through your resume.
4) What are your career goals and how does a USC MSF fit in with these goals.

Expect things like this. I'd also be able to expand and discuss whatever you wrote your essays on. They might ask about something they read in them.

Hope this helps. Relax and be able to talk with the interviewer. They are trying to learn more about you and see how well you fit in their program.

Hey ,
USC Marshall is a school with international recognition in various popular programs like MBA and Finance, and considering the strength of the prowess of the faculty at USC Marshall MS finance is a program is definitely a good option.
Well, as for the interview process it is mainly based on the behavioral questions, most of the questions will be from your past work ex. why you want to join Marshall, hobbies and so on, some questions you can expect are:
Tell me about your job.
Why MS Finance / What do you hope to get out of it,
Your Goals
Why do you want to join Marshall?
Three attributes your coworkers will say about you
Hobbies and so on.
USC interview panel takes a straightforward and quite short interview as per the report from most of our clients, most of the questions would be from your resume and application to make sure you go prepare it that way and you are all set to go.
