Thanks everyone...honestly, I kept at it. I wrote two follow up emails and had a Marshall alum write me an additional letter of rec. If you truly want it you need to show it.

Congrats LAMBA18!!!

How long did it take between submitting your letter and hearing back from usc? Just wondering because I just submitted additional materials this week. Fingers crossed for good news!


I submitted my first waitlist letter at the end of April. About a week later, the person I interviewed with emailed me back stating she received my letter and would add it to my file. That was the last I heard back from admissions until I got the call earlier this week stating I was accepted. I hope that helps. Trust me I know the wait is terrible but when you get that acceptance call it is well worth the wait.

I haven't received any updates.

I'm waitlisted so with it being this late in the game, chances of acceptance for me are tiny.

I'm sure there are many highly qualified applicants out there waiting.

I was accepted into USC and tomorrow is the start of mandatory pre-fall classes. I know it sucks not to have a definitive answer, but it's highly unlikely that they will all the sudden accept applicants on the waiting list this late in the game. We've been assigned intensive readings already, so if admissions do end up accepting waitlisters after this weekend, there will be a lot to catch up on. And I mean A TON.

I would seriously focus on reapplying for Fall 2016 at this point - whether that's studying again for the GMAT or looking at other schools. I know that's tough to hear, but I think that's better than holding on to something that may not happen. I know that's what I would like, at least.
