I'm still waiting on hearing back after my interview, which was last week. Best of luck to those who are still waiting!

For all of those fretting the wait... just be patient. I know it's hard, but that's what college admission is all about (if you can remember doing it back when you were 17). I applied well before R1 and didn't receive a decision for many months. If you have questions you don't think can be answered here, you should call the admissions office, they were extremely responsive by phone to others and myself. It may be weird that you can't text them in this day and age, but seriously, pick up the phone and call. Good luck!

Hey everyone, I'm new to the discussion boards and I wanted to see if anyone has heard back from the waitlist?

Also: Because I was waitlisted at USC, I had to put in my deposit at another MBA program. Does anyone know if USC will refund or honor my deposit if I'm accepted from the waitlist?

Thanks in advance.

I can't speak to whether anyone has moved off the waitlist, but don't expect USC to give you any leeway on the deposit. Several of us have already forfeited deposits at other programs.

Hi, I am a waitlister as well. I called admissions last week and was told to be on stand by from now until the day before classes start. At the time of my call, Admissions had not finished reviewing the 4th round applicants. Not much help, and actually a bit concerning, considering classes start in a month. I am assuming waitlisters will not be admitted this year.

Hello All.

From what I know, interviews for Round 4 took place from 6/25 - 6/30. I was told during my interview that I would know their decision in a couple days.

*Question for those who got interviewed and were accepted - How did you guys find out? Did Admin call you or was it posted online? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hope this info helps.

You will find out first on the application portal so keep checking there. I didn't get my call until almost a week later.

Thanks so much for the info. I'm going to wait until after the July 4th holiday to check just in case it's bad news.

Best of luck to everyone else! I'm hanging there with y'all.

By application portal, are you implying USC connect or the Application (Apply Yourself)

On ApplyYourself. I was accepted in April and my USC Connect still says that my application is pending so don't trust that site :) good luck to everyone still waiting. If you read back in this thread you'll see it was rough for me too! I feel your pain.

For those who were accepted: how much was the deposit you put down, and by what deadline?

Fingers crossed those of us on the wait list will hear back.

Good luck this week everyone!

I'm not sure if this is any indication, but on the welcome site there are only about a 100 profiles. Assuming everyone accepted so far has created profile, this COULD mean that adcom still has a good number of acceptances left to give if you consider previous class sizes have been 200+. I hope every one of you still waiting gets good news this week.

I wouldn't count on that, last class size was a little over 150 since they are trying to make the program more competitive. I also dont think everyone has actually filled out the profile. Deposit was 2.5k not sure what your deadline would be though.

Question for those of you in the know. For waitlisters, will you receive a formal decline if you are not accepted? Or is just assumed if you never get the acceptance call you didn't make the cut?
