soooooooooooo i just got done with my interview. it was about ~20 and mostly robotic. she was real nice though. here's the thing.

*i haven't taken the gre/gmat*

am i still required despite the fact that i completed an interview? the website says:

The Marshall MBA.PM Program has temporarily waived the GMAT/GRE requirement for the Fall 2021 application cycle only

I know I'm reading too much into it but I just need clarity...

If I'm applying now for Fall 2021 admissions, does that mean I don't have to take the exam?
If I am applying in the future Fall 2021 for 2022 admission, does that mean I don't have to take the exam?

help?

*note my girl is writing this, not me. heh.

Grats! I checked in with the Ad Comm before and it looks like they are only waiving the test requirement for Fall 2021 admission (aka for those that are going to start in this coming July-2021).

Do you mind to share what kind of questions the interviewer asked? I have an interview coming soon next week and I've been preparing ha.

thanks, to answer your question, basic stuff you can find online:

why mba / why marshall / why now / describe your leadership / what will you contribute / walk me through your resume

how long after the interview should I expect a decision? I asked my interviewer and she said 3/31 but it could arrive sooner.
For those that received a decision how long did it take after you interviewed?

I believe 3/31 is the official decision release date for R2. Given what I have seen in the forum, I believe the school will start to release the decision sometimes mid to late Mar.

I have an interview coming soon, any tips to prepare for that interview? Any unexpected questions besides the basic one (walk me through your resume/why MBA/why Marshall/describe leadership qualities, etc). Appreciate any insights you can offer.

awesome thanks!

It was very conversational and I was asked all of those questions. I was also asked "why an MBA right now" that was a follow up to why MBA. they also asked for examples of times of conflict and how I handled them. The final question was do you have any questions for me.
I was reading about mba interview prep and an old adcoms person said its a huge red flag if no questions are asked, so just make sure you have a few questions prepared that cant be found on the website.

To those who are wondering about some Marshall interview experiences, you can check them at the following link. Look for the MBA.PM at the title of the interview debrief.

All the best :)

So I believe today is the last day for those who interviewed in the 2/16 - 3/4 batch. Hopefully we all hear the good news soon! Fingers crossed!

Ryeol1589 hi! What do you mean by last day? I interviewed on the 16th. Does that mean that I will likely get a decision tomorrow?

Oops - apologies for the confusion. Ad Comm mentioned they will be interviewing candidates from 2/16 - 3/4. Today is their last interview date (3/4). With that being said, I think the decision will be released soon in the next few weeks (before 3/31).

Based on what I have seen, I don’t really think any part time program gives out any scholarships, but I may been wrong.

They do give out merit based scholarships but I think they tend to be small and limited to small number of applicants.
they have info on the link below

Yup - the Ad Comm I interviewed with mentioned that the decisions will be released by 3/31 and the decisions can come earlier. I think this decision deadline is only applicable for the batch that interview from 2/16 - 3/4. I believe those that interviewed earlier should have gotten a decision by now.
