- This choice is beyond the scope of the argument; the stimulus has not stated anything about special attention to talented students.
- Irrelevant. The children are not being criticized; just the ones with talent are being encouraged.
- A very generalized statement. The stimulus says about coach and children; everyone is a broad term which will include children and adults, whereas our stimulus is concerned with children. If we had replaced "everyone" to "children" then it would have been a much closer answer choice. But even after this change D would be correct because it is talking about early age and thus a more accurate conclusion. It would have made the question highly debatable.
- Correct, It logically follows the statements in the stimulus. In fact it is a restatement of the last sentence.
- You can straight away reject this choice. No claim is made to coach all the students.

hi ,
I could not relate the answer choice with the question. Football needs practice and intensive study. Football coachers choose children who demonstrate talent. But they dont practise because they think they are superior to others .. so 'their 'latent' talent is not utilised properly .Here author even mentiones that the children possess talent .
. The author does not dispute the fact that the children are talented but he says that they are not using it .. . E-gmat
in that case, how is C correct ?
